FAQ
1What is ems training and why is it so effective?
During a 20 minute EMS session you get fitted with a suit that will activate 98% of your muscle fibers, making your workout 16x more effective than a regular work out. Besides being fast and efficient it is a lot of fun too! Fitin20 is a local family owned and run business, and we take pride in caring about you, our goals and our studio. It is friendly, private and clean.
2I have injuries, can I still do EMS?
Yes! Your Personal Trainer designs your work out around your injuries and are even able to often relief pain. We even offer zero joint impact work outs while still getting those 3 hours worth of strength training in! It is the perfect solution to work out while injured. You only work out with 1 person max at the time in a boutique studio, great for partner workouts!
3What does ems training feel like?
Trainees often describe the training as a tingling deep tissue massage that will make all your major muscles contract intensely at the same time. It makes for a great and fun workout! Especially when we activate the back with our impulse, the words ”amazing feeling” are often used.
4What are some of the other benefits?
Besides weight loss and fast and effective body shaping, it also improves balance, flexibility and body symmetry, fixing and preventing injuries. Back pain responds phenomenally to strength training, which makes EMS to be extremely useful as a treatment for chronic back pains and sprained/spastic back muscles.
5How is EMS different from a normal gym?
By using a low grade impulse we can reach muscles more effectively. This way you gain up to 3 hours worth of weighted work out in just 20 minutes. It also raises your metabolism up to 4 days as opposed to 48 hours with conventional workout, allowing around the clock calorie burn. Once to twice a week session is enough to get fast results! The sessions are (semi) private and never boring. We also offer a mountain of support: nutrition, sleep, posture, menopause and fitness, back pain stretches and much more.
6Who uses EMS training at your studio?
Coach potatoes, time poor professionals, people wanting to shape their bodies, trainees on a weight loss journey, postpartum mothers, those struggling with joint issues or arthritis, elite athletes, the elderly/seniors, tradies with back pain, rehabilitation, cardiac patients, people looking for effective cellulite treatment. incontinence patients and people that are after a full body training program that works and delivers results.
