Hiking: the most enjoyable cardio training there is!
EMS training is a great solution if you are time poor, or if you’d just rather like to spend your hard earned leisure time elsewhere than logging it out in the gym. Believe it or not, but walking/hiking has been scientifically proven to be one of the most effective (and safe) type of cardio. It also is a very effective endurance training for your core muscles.
Research has shown that a daily 10 minute power walk will increase the (weight loss) effect of your EMS sessions by 20%!
Other studies have also shown that hiking has great benefits for the mind: it tackles insomnia, reduces anxiety and it proves to make you think more self-motivating thoughts.
At Fit in 20 we love hiking as it is a great way to get cardio in while enjoying the outdoors. We are so lucky living on the Sunshine Coast, where the sun hours and beautiful spots are ample. We compiled a list for you with some easy, medium, advanced and kid friendly walks to incorporate in your Fitin20 exercise plan!

Did you know we also offer a cardio program at Fit in 20?
During your 20 minutes you will be taken through Low impact cardio exercises.
The impulse is of different frequency and pulsating.
This workout is the equivalent of 3 HITT trainings! Not only does it have great effects on regulating your metabolism (which helps you burn fat), it also is extremely efficient in treating cellulite.
In Europe it is even said to be the only effective method against cellulite by experts.
It is a great way to increase your fitness level and is often used by our trainees as a booster session on top of their regular weekly strength session. We often like to mix it up and split your work out in half strength and half cardio! So much fun and variety.
The cardio program will really put those newly build EMS muscles to work for you, and help you with any orange skin on your thighs.
